Coming from a family of entrepreneurs and having experienced franchising from every facet, Steve Poulos firmly believes that everyone should explore at least once in their lives, the experience of working and building something for themselves. He can attest that the quality of life often times far exceeds the agony people experience in the overworked and underpaid corporate world. For this reason, his mission is to help others attain the American dream that he and his family have achieved through business ownership. He offers experienced advice for those seeking the opportunity to explore their true potential and the reward of business ownership.
He graduated in 1998 with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree with a concentration in Business Management.
After college Steve spent the following 10 years in a financial advisory role with various Fortune 500 companies in Ohio and Florida. His experience includes:
-Analyzing corporate financials and companies to identify undervalued investments and new opportunities
-Collaborating with industry professionals and team members to successfully manage portfolios through due diligence and asset allocation
-Business development with high net worth individuals to assess their individual financial profile and recommend suitable options to achieve their long-term goals and objectives
-Obtained securities and insurance licenses and an Accredited Asset Management Specialist designation from the College for Financial Planning
After this time he acquired, grew and sold an insurance franchise for 7 years and continues to operate as an independent agent where he:
-Works with individuals and businesses to identify liability exposures, select adequate coverages and minimize premium costs by consistently shopping the market
-Successfully managed and grew $5 million in annual premium while achieving over 90% client retention on new business.
-Managed all aspects of franchise agency operations including functions within HR, Accounting, Marketing and Legal.
-Became licensed as a General Lines Agent in Property and Casualty Insurance
Mr Poulos prides himself on having an extremely diverse skill set across multiple industry sectors and a very down-to-earth business approach. He is an active member of several Greek communities, enjoys playing golf and volleyball while devoting much of his free time to his wife and family including the "honey-do list" full of home improvement projects.
